In September 2008, City Council Member Diana Reyna asked our team to help with the renovation of a formerly-abandoned lot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Young people from the neighborhood had already worked to beautify the lot with murals, garden planters, and a stage. All they needed now was picnic tables and benches so that the new garden could play host to a variety of community functions, including parties, picnics, performances, school visits, and some highly-touted domino competitions. student writing student construction team photo journal s. 4th street garden home projects the program about us donate click here for more photos
